BASTION RACE
The one-mile race of pursuit hot rods and American vehicles and motorcycles manufactured before 1975 takes place in the unique setting of Josefov Fortress in Eastern Bohemia. Festival grounds of Brutal Assault. All American vehicles are welcome, with parking and camping available directly on-site. Beer, food, and breakfast will be provided.
We are a group of enthusiasts who love American cars and enjoy building and modifying them.
For many years, we have actively participated in most hot rod events both in the Czech Republic and across Europe. Since there is a lack of amateur track racing in the Czech Republic, we are trying to change that.
We recommend that all participants register online in advance, by the end of April (10 days before the race).
Riders who register online will receive a free commemorative card featuring their racing machine.
On-site registration will be available only on Friday from 4 PM to Saturday 10 AM at the starting location, but without a commemorative card.
Only American automobiles and hot rods manufactured before 1975, as well as pre-war motorcycles or custom-built motorcycles up to 1991, are allowed to participate.
Riders on motorcycles and in open vehicles must wear a helmet. Riders are advised of the challenging nature of the track, which alternates between asphalt, concrete, gravel, grass, and elevation changes. Each rider must adjust their driving to the capabilities of their vehicle to avoid endangering themselves or other participants.
This is a demonstration of regularity driving over two laps, so even the slowest vehicle has a chance to win. The organizer reserves the right to refuse a vehicle for technical or capacity reasons.
